A
lot has changed since 1905, but Buebendorf Brothers quality
products and dependable service remain constant.
As we
start our second century of supplying industrial minerals to users
world wide, we are pleased to announce the introduction of a new
line of high density grinding media and lining brick for ball and
pebble mills.
High
density alumina grinding media has proven itself to be the best
choice for both dry and wet milling. Their higher specific gravity
results in high productivity and better wear resistance. Our high
density alumina media, with an alumina content of 87% and Rockwell
hardness of 90, delivers consistent, predictable, dependable
results batch after batch.
In
those applications involving high heat buildup and quenching, our
high density alumina does not fracture or spauld, eliminating
costly batch contamination and down time.
The
apparent density of 3.45 of high density alumina grinding media
provides quick grind time, and higher batch capacities than some
other types of grinding media. In addition, it also allows for
lower mill speeds, which translate into less electrical usage
and lower utility (electric) bills, an important consideration n
today’s environment of rising energy costs.
High
density alumina grinding media is ball shaped and available in 30,
40, 50, and 60 mm sizes to meet a wide range of milling needs.
Also available is a 20 mm satellite or banded ball shapes.
High
density alumina lining brick, also know as block, is made of the
same material and to the same specifications as the high density
alumina grinding media. Their superior wear resistance allows
thinner brick to be used while still providing long term
durability. The use of thinner high density brick for lining the
mill allows for larger batches, increasing productivity.
100
years of providing our customers with the finest in product and
service provides you the assurance that we have the experience to
meet your needs in a timely, professional manner.
